Crystal Noir by Versace is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Crystal Noir was launched in 2004. The nose behind this fragrance is Antoine Lie. Versace is based around the gardenia, a flower that is sweet, fragrant yet subtle.

According to Donatella Crystal Noir is a rare essence, sensual and delicate. Top notes are Pepper, Ginger and Cardamom; middle notes are Coconut, Gardenia, Orange Blossom and Peony; base notes are Sandalwood, Musk and Amber. The central note of the composition is mysterious gardenia, fresh, sensual, luminous, rich and creamy, reproduced by 'headspace' technology. Amber and musk in the base make the scent dark and mysterious, very sensual and distinct. 

The heart notes take this fresh and crisp gardenia and blend it with amber which has been purified almost to transparency for a sensuous and seductive result. 

Blending with warm, strong amber creates a wonderful contradiction, like two sides of every woman.
