Fungal acne also known as Malassezia Folliculitis is a skin condition resulting from overgrowth yeast. Malassezia is the fungal responsible for acne. When the hair follicles in the skin react to the yeast they become inflamed, causing little, hard bumps. The bumps resemble pimples are very itchy with white tips.

Treatment is to avoid yeast 'feeds'. Yeast thrive in moist and heat. Also avoid processed food high in sugar and carbohydrates. The acnes often occurs on The Back, chest, upper arms and face.
